Do I need any prior experience to train with you?

No prior experience is necessary. The classes are designed to cater to all skill levels, from beginners to advanced.

Do you have group classes?

Presently, we don't conduct group sessions. However, we do host sparring sessions, and we'll notify you in advance of these events. These sessions not only offer an excellent chance to engage in sparring but also provide a valuable opportunity to meet fellow students and train with different partners.

Do you have sparring events?

We host sparring events where you can meet other members and practice your skills against different opponents. If you are interested in participating, Shawn will notify you of upcoming sparring days during your session.

Can I drop in and see the training facility?

All of our sessions are by appointment only. If you'd like to try it out or see the facility, go to the contact page and set up your free trial session to see if you'd like to become a member.

Are your sessions private?

All of our sessions are private. If you want to bring a training partner along you can coordinate with Shawn.

What are the gym rules regarding etiquette and conduct?

We expect all members to maintain a respectful and positive environment. Appropriate athletic attire, including comfortable workout clothing is required for all training sessions. Please ensure that your attire allows for a full range of motion and promotes a safe training environment for everyone.

Should I buy my own equipment?

We advise owning your hand wraps, gloves, and shin guards for hygiene. While we provide gear, having your own is recommended. For sparring, a mouthpiece is mandatory. For serious Muay Thai enthusiasts, we also recommend considering elbow pads and knee pads for enhanced protection.

What else should I bring for my session?

It's always a good idea to pack a water bottle and a towel. Wear athletic clothing that allows a full range of motion.

Can you prepare me for a fight?

Yes, Shawn can prepare you for upcoming fights or tournaments. Reach out to him for more detailed information regarding the training process and what to expect.
